Now buckle up.  I want to introduce or reintroduce you to The omen best Horror movie ever.

Fans of the horror genre, are forever searching for that really scary film that makes their spine tingle and hair stand on end. Sometimes the films they are able to find are good stuff that are quite entertaining and suspense filled. But quite often, these films don’t quite deliver that deep thrill and tingle that we’ve come to expect.

What if I were to tell you that if you’re looking for the
Best horror film ever, you’d have to go back to the year 1976!  Yes, you read right. But what’s so special
about that year? Well, that was the year the most awesome flick ever made from the genre was released to the unsuspecting fans. They lived never to forget it. The name of this cool customer is “The Omen” (Not the remake Please!) The original.

Directed by Richard Donner and starring Gregory Peck, Lee Remick, David Warner, Billie Whitelaw, Patrick Troughton and Harvey Stephens,
this movie scared the hairs off of me the first, second, third and fourth time
I dared to watch it. To be honest it scares me everytime I watch it. It just
never loses its sting. But the strange thing is that you find yourself hypnotically craving for more.

The story Follows American Ambassador Robert Thorn(Peck) whose wife loses a child at birth. A creepy priest offers the Thorns an adorable Child to adopt. They accept; It is the biggest mistake they will ever make.
They name the child Damien.
All seems great and rosy until the child’s first birthday when his nanny commits suicide, and a desperate and terrified priest with real knowledge of what the child really is, comes forward to tell the Thorns the truth about their cute looking kid.
Of course they don’t take it very well. They ignore the priest and his ‘rambling lies’.
As the incidents and revelations start to really emerge, the fact that their precious child is the Spawn of Satan with the 666 mark of the beast, finally dawns on the horrified parents.

The critically acclaimed performances, including the performance of little Harvey Stephens as Damien is outstanding. His depiction of corrupted innocence is both convincing and terrifying. And the haunting Oscar winning sound track by the legendary
Jerry Goldsmith, is probably the scariest thing you’ve ever heard in your life.

This movie isn’t just one of the greatest horror films ever, it is also one of the most cursed productions in movie history.

Don’t believe me? Let me give you a few facts to prove that this movie probably pissed off the devil himself!

1. Actor Gregory Peck who was the movie’s lead, and a film executive were flying in two separate planes. Both planed were struck by lightning!

Another plane that was hired and then unused for aerial filming in the movie, was later used by a different group of people. It crashed, killing everyone on board.

3. The animal trainer hired to take care of the baboons used in the famous scene in the movie, was killed the very next day…can you believe it? By a tiger!

4. A Trained Rotweiler ignored it’s trainer and attacked a stuntman seriously injuring him.

5. Gregory Peck’s son committed suicide two months before the film began production.

6. A stuntman nearly lost his life after falling of a building. He later claimed he had been pushed by someone he couldn’t see.

7. The IRA almost blew up the crew on two separate occasions.
