Make Every Decision For Malti

Chopra is a hands-on mom and has made it her priority to put her daughter first in all of her decisions, saying: “Every decision ends up being about her. Every decision I make personally, professionally and even socially I’m like, ‘Will this affect her, will this affect her life, will this affect her as a mother, will this affect her as a woman?'”

Focus On Quality Time

Apart from making sure Malti is taken care of, Chopra understands the importance of spending quality time with her daughter, saying: “I’m very aware that the time I get with Malti is so precious. So when I am not shooting or working, I just want to pack up and be with her.”

Chopra is also making sure Malti develops her love for travelling, saying: “At her age, I don’t want her to be bound in one particular place.”

Greatest Teacher Is Experiencing Life

For Chopra, the greatest teacher a person can have is by experiencing life. As a result, she’s making sure her daughter gets the opportunity to explore and learn. She recently said: “I want her to get to know the world because that’s the greatest teacher. I want her to experience different cultures, different environments; to be able to also understand where she comes from and also respect where I come from.”

She is making sure that her daughter gets the opportunity to grow and explore the world, while also making sure she is taken cared of and given the best quality time. Juggling Family and Career

She said, “Being a working mom and having a child, it’s so hard. It’s been a learning curve for me. I don’t know if I’m getting it right, but I’m trying my best. I want her to be able to look back and be proud of both her parents.”

Putting Family First

Chopra Jonas also shared that she is making a conscious effort to keep her daughter and family at the forefront of her decisions. “Every decision I make ends up being about her. Like, I don’t know if this is a reality for most parents, but it’s for me,” the actor said. She went on to share that she devotes most of her free time to spending time with her family.

Prioritizing Self-Care

Though Chopra Jonas is focused on being a good parent, she is also making sure to take care of herself. She joked that her daughter already knows her from her morning meditation routine. She also shared that she makes time for self-care and for bonding with her husband, Nick Jonas.

Despite the challenges of raising a child, Chopra Jonas is determined to learn how to juggle her commitments as a mother and her career. Here are a few things she has to say about being a working mom with a baby:

  • Be Realistic: “Try to break the expectations or the standards you set for yourself. As a superwoman who has to do everything, you need to be realistic about it and take it slow.”
  • Make Time for Yourself: “Self-care is so important. [It’s] something that all moms should remember to do every single day, if not multiple times a day.”
  • Learn to Adjust: “Priorities change. Patience changes. The way you look at life and everything, I think that has changed the most. It wasn’t like this before.”

With her open and honest attitude towards parenting, Chopra Jonas is setting an example for all mothers. She is showing them how to balance their responsibilities with their own self-care, which is a lesson we can all learn from.
