Or maybe you have to see more than one of his films to fully appreciate the immense talent he possesses when it comes to pulling off difficult and diverse roles. American  Hollywood Actor, Producer and Musician Johnny Christopher Depp has gained a reputation as one of the most gifted and talented character actors ever. Constantly  challenging himself by taking on a series of diverse roles that require him to totally transform himself into a Character so far from the norm, Depp has succeeded critically and commercially in bringing some of the most ‘hard to play’ movie characters to life. The 54 year old actor first appeared on Nightmare on Elm street, the terrifying and often ridiculous Freddie Kruger hit Horror film. But he gained fame as a teen heartthrob on TV series, 21 Jump Street. That was the first time the world started to notice two things that Depp had in abundance—His remarkable onscreen abilities, and his extraordinary good looks. 
The former will eventually lead him to starring in some of the biggest blockbusters movies  in history,while the latter will gain him worldwide recognition as one of the most handsome men on earth.

His portrayal of Disney Characters and other out of this world characters, like his role in Alice in the wonderland, Charlie and the Chocolate factory and Edward Scissorhands are so well done, you would have to have a rock for a brain not to admire his skill—even for those who are not his fans. And speaking of fans, the actor is globally adored with millions of fans. But strangely, he still shies away from the spotlight.

Johnny Depp was the highest paid actor in the world in 2012 with total earnings of $75 million. And today he is still one of the richest Hollywood actors with a net worth of about $200 million. He commands a fee of about $16 million per film.

Nine years after the success of Edward Scissorhands, Johnny Depp collaborates again with Director Tim Burton as he plays a New York detective sent to the town of sleepy Hollow to investigate murders committed by the headless horseman. Yes I know it sounds kind of ridiculous, but the movie is actually  quite good.  And it made a decent $207 million at the box office.

Depp teams up with the adorable Kate Winslet and the legendary Dustin Hoffman for this intriguing movie Finding Neverland.
